It was very cloudy in the UK so most observers were unlucky. But in Ardnamurchan we got a short break in the clouds and watched the transit for about 20 minutes. The picture above was obtained by projecting the image from binoculars mounted on a tripod. It was taken in the tiny township of Achana.
